Don't take any notice of the negative reviews, this gadget works straight out of the box. I am no techie but was using it within minutes and was able to use the more advanced functions after just a brief scan of the instructions, simple. There is a pdf manual in the recorder itself which you can read by linking to your pc.
Quality of sound is good. File transfer to pc works fine. Nice and lightweight, smaller than mobile phone. Smashing product.

I'm a bit of a cynic and wasn't expecting too much,but I was pleasantly surprised with this bit of kit.It fulfilled my limited needs admirably. I had an important speech to make and it was just the ticket to iron out clunky wordage and pace my delivery.I didn't read the instruction book but I will do that later to find out how to raise the volume (silly me)I am very pleased with the product.

Initially i was very disappointed in this product, its manufacture has been kept to the barest minimum conceivable. I am over 40 years old and like most of the population my eyesight isn't 20/20. Even with my reading glasses it is difficult to see what is on the screen. And there is the problem of big hands and fingers. This has been designed for a four foot fairy methinks.
However, I use it for meetings with doctors etc. and, glasses to hand, concentration on max, it works.

I bought this to record interviews for some education action research. It's very easy to use, the sound quality is good, it did the job wonderfully, and I shall keep it to use for recording speaking exams. It wasn't too pricey either!

I didn't get this from Amazon, but had to buy it rather quick as I was needing to record interviews with people. Easy to use, microphone is quite good, handy size. Easy of use is great when downloading onto PC or laptop. Can't fault it.
