Fantastic Pans September 6, 2010 Baker Burcham Used these pans for the first time this week, they were great, better than shop bought bangettes.
Faultless bread every time July 30, 2010 Jhitmee (London) Makes good shape, good length loaves with very little effort. The risen dough goes in and proves, before 15 mins. I use it all the time: I have been far more successful making loaves in this than any other method (loaf tins, baking trays etc).
Granary loaves seem particularly good in this. Unreservedly recommended for beginners like me.
Excellent tins July 29, 2010 Coley Perfect for large baguettes - no need to wash - just keep lightly oiled each time you use them. The person who put in dishwasher was daft........tip..slash the dough and put dough in a cold oven (in the tray) - tray of boiling water in bottom of oven - switch on to 200 degrees - job done in 20 mins.....occasional spray with water to get a crisp finish
French bread the right shape! July 13, 2010 Mrs. A. J. Geraghty (France) I am delighted with my bread pan. It shapes the bread just as it should be and what more can I ask? I brush a little oil on the pan after use and wipe off the excess. This ensures the life of the non-stick part of the pan. It's as simple as that! No, I am not D.I. Geraghty. That's my husband and he doesn't bake bread! I am A.J. Geraghty and I do!!
Perfect for baking baguette July 12, 2010 Mari Smith (London, UK) I read positive reviews on this product and decided to give it a go myself. The result has been fantastic!
This french baguette tray is revolutionary. I used to use canvas cloth to proove my baguette and always struggled when I moved it onto a tray, trying to cope with sticky dough or/and not to squash it. However, with this already baguette-shaped tray, you can proove your dough on the tray and put it straight into the oven without messing with the dough! How clever! I also noticed that the tray with little holes help water evaporate more efficiently, making the finished baguette really crusty on the outside, but nice and moistured inside. I am really proud of my improved baguette now. Oh, it's sooo easy to clean the tray as well. Some people mentioned that it stops being non-stick in a short while. I used mine about 10 times so far and it's been fine. I hope it will last. I definitely recommend this product to any enthusiastic bakers/home bakers.
