Fantastic product August 19, 2010 Roberto A great little radio. Took this camping and worked excellently. A little fiddly to tune in at times but the overall performance is fantastic.
Smashing little radio August 4, 2010 Abbdoc (Scotland) I previously purchased a "wind up radio" from a large electrical high street outlet, no names of course (Maplin) and it said on the packet "One 1 minute wind will give half an hour of radio play " really? not in this dimension, you were lucky to get 3 minutes of playing time!!!
So i was understandably wary of another wind up radio, but having read the reviews I thought it worth speculation with another £15 or so.
And i must say its marvelous, give it an overnight charge via USB and al you need do after that is leave it @ an area where the blue charger light will light up and Voila its charging viz the solar panel.
Super smashing Lovely
Im going to invest in another one for my duaghter coz she keeps using mine and changing the channel from Radio Scotland or Radio 4 to some infernal pop music rubbish-lol
regards to all
very good value for money July 27, 2010 butterfly2 (Sheffield, UK) This little radio as been so well liked in developing countries that I have left them as presents: one in India, the other in a remote village in South America. What did attract them was the lack of use of electricity and being powered by sun, which is PLENTY in those countries
very good, also nice to be back to something that is not digital!!!
Glad I bought it!!!
Really chuffed June 10, 2010 L. Wood (East Midlands UK) I bought this to use in my greenhouse as I often miss things like the end of a serial or something. It worked straight off and the reception is great - even for radio 4. I think this is wonderful and wish I'd got one ages ago. It'll be a great pity if Amazon don't have any more.
Love It!!! April 9, 2010 Raggysmum Best item I ever bought on Amazon, small, light, feels good, looks good, well made, got it going within seconds. Great sound so I can listen anywhere to my beloved LBC (People in London will know who I mean!!) Headphone socket and charger inc. I got so fed up with recharging batteries and having batteries fail when I was out and about, this can never happen now. Sits on my windowsill for the rare rays of sunshine to charge it or a good 2 minute wind up can last nearly an hour. Love it!!!
